The origin of the Montauk Project dates back to 1943 when radar invisibility was being researched aboard the USS Eldridge. As the Eldridridge was stationed at the Philadelphia Navy Yard, the events concerning the ship have commonly been referred to as the Philadelphia Experiment. The objective of this experiment was to make the ship undetectable to radar and while that was achieved, there was a totally unexpected and drastic side effect. The ship became invisible to the naked eye and was removed from time and space as we know it!

Although this was a remarkable breakthrough in terms of technology, it was a catastrophe to the people involved. Sailors had been transported out of this dimension and returned in a statc of complete mental disorientation and horror. Some were even planted into the bulkhead of the ship itself. Those who survived were discharged as “mentally unfit” or otherwise discredited and the entire affair was covered up.

After the war, research continued under the tutelage of Dr. John von Neumann who had directed the technical aspects of the Philadelphia Experiment. His new orders were to find out what made the mind of man tick and why people could not be subject to interdimensional phenomena without disaster. A massive human factor study was begun at Brookhaven National Laboratories on Long Island, New York. It was known as the Phoenix Project.

Art Bell welcomed foremost remote viewing teacher Major Ed Dames, who discussed some current cases of his Matrix Intelligence Agency as well as provided updates on past predictions.

Dames said a world food crisis is coming that will be caused by a combination of increased population, plant disease and weather changes. According to Dames, many of the changes seen in global weather patterns have been caused by our “metastasizing” ozone layer. Dames also expects a global economic collapse along with a concurrent spread of H5N1 (bird flu). He said an outbreak could be as soon as next year, and once full blown, will spread across the planet in three months.

Dames talked about the strong solar flares that he sees hitting the planet in the near future. The flares will shut down power grids, and take out satellites and cell phones, he explained. In order to survive in the aftermath of the coming events, Dames suggested people live in places with plenty of food and water, and with like-minded individuals who will take care of each other.

Dames provided details about another major terror attack on the United States, as well as spoke about World War III, which he said started about five years ago. He also gave an update on his search for Steve Fossett, whose remains and crash site are located in the Sierra Nevada mountains, according to Dames’ remote viewing team. They will be hiking into the region to continue their search for Fossett in mid-June, Dames said.

Art Bell returned for an in-depth conversation with scientist and author Michio Kaku, covering such topics as atomic weapons, the environment, genetic experimentation, future technology, parallel worlds, and cosmology. We’ve already passed one point of no return — the melting of the North Pole; this will change the way our descendants experience the planet, Kaku declared. The polar melting will cause more release of methane, possibly setting up a “positive feedback loop” that will further warm up tundras, he explained.

The genome of Neanderthals has been mostly mapped out, and an egg created from their DNA could potentially be gestated in a chimpanzee, in order to recreate a Neanderthal, Kaku noted, adding that no laws are in place yet to guide this kind of mind-boggling experimentation. On the technology front, he pointed out that by 2020 when Moore’s Law of computing power has reached its peak, the subsequent stagnation could lead to an economic depression. However, if quantum computing is successfully developed, it could offer a leap forward in sophistication and ability.

Nanotechnology, he said, holds out promise to revolutionize medicine. For instance, nanobots could be injected to kill individual cancer cells. Parallel universes could co-exist with us, such as in our own living rooms, said Kaku, though there is an astronomically small chance we would ever enter into one of these worlds. More and more, cosmologists and physicists are warming to the multiverse idea, and the notion that our universe may have been created by a collision with another bubble universe, he shared.

The theory of Timewave Zero was revealed to Terence McKenna in the wake of an unusual psychedelic experiment conducted deep in the Amazon jungle in Colombia in 1971, which led to his being instructed in certain transformations of numbers, derived from the King Wen Sequence of I Ching hexagrams, relating to the occurrence of temporal phenomena. This eventually led to a mathematical description of “the timewave”, which allegedly correlates time and history with the ebb and flow of something called Novelty, claimed to be a quality intrinsic to the temporal structure of the universe. A remarkable quality of the timewave is that it is a fractal. Another interesting part of the theory of Timewave Zero is the notion of historical periods “in resonance” with each other, in which the events of the earlier period are in some sense repeated in the later.

A peculiarity of this correlation is that at a certain point a singularity is reached which is the end of history — or at least a transition to a supra-historical order in which our ordinary conceptions of reality will be radically transformed. The date of this point was chosen by McKenna to be December 21, 2012, the date of the winter solstice of that year and also the end of the current era of 13 baktuns in the Maya Calendar (according to the Goodman-Martinez-Thompson correlation 584,283).

The “time monks” of Half Past Human employ a technique based on radical linguistics to reduce extracts from readings of dynamic postings on the internet into an archetypical database, which they use to calculate the rate of change of the language. The forecasts of the future are derived from these calculations, which are based on a system of associations between words and numeric values for emotional responses from those words. These ‘emotional impact indicators’ are attached to a data base of over three hundred thousand words, which serve a the lexicon from which the future forecasting is derived.
